The president of the Community, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, will be in charge of announcing next year the Holy Week of the murcian district of La Ñora, in an event that will take place in the parish church Nuestra Señora del Socorro.
Pedro Antonio Sanchez was commissioned to be a proclaimer of Holy Week of La Nora a few weeks ago during a meeting held with representatives of the Brotherhood of the Virgin of the Step, which includes eleven brotherhoods.
The event will take place on April 1 (at 8:00 p.m.), the day on which the patron saint of the town, Nuestra Señora del Paso, takes place, from her hermitage to Nuestra Señora del Socorro church, where Will offer the proclamation of Holy Week.
The brotherhoods that make up the Confraternity of the Virgin of the Passion parade between Holy Tuesday and Easter Sunday, days of the Mysteries of the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, in which more than 1,000 people actively participate.
The images that are currently processed are sculptors Lozano Roca, José Noguera, García Mengual and Diego Alcaraz Ramos.
For 2017 a new processional parade is planned with the image of Santo Cristo de las Penas.
This confraternity also prepares Lent with the presentation of the poster of the Holy Week and the Nazarene of the Year, the prayer of the Way of the Cross, the proclamation and the Mass of Brotherhoods.
