The City Council opens a line of aid for companies of social and autonomous economy that create indefinite employment (06/12/2016)

Grants will be greater if young, women and groups with special difficulties are hired for their insertion in the labor market, with the aim of generating quality employment and favoring the incorporation of people without work.

In total, the Department of Employment, Tourism and Culture has arranged an injection of 419,000 euros this year to launch for the first time a program to boost the recruitment of unemployed people and generate stable employment.

This second call approved today, endowed with € 112,000, adds to the one published in July, with a fund of € 307,000

For the first time, the City Council has launched this year a new line of stable employment promotion based on offering local businesses a stimulus for hiring unemployed people.

This call was approved last July, open to SMEs, micropymes, self-employed, cooperatives, non-profit organizations, insertion companies and social economy.

It was endowed with a fund of 307,000 € and it was attended by 161 companies, willing to hire 200 people.

The Department of Employment, Tourism and Culture, led by Jesus Pacheco, thus opens the second call this year for this subsidy to support the creation of stable employment, this time addressed exclusively to companies of self-employed and partners of companies of economy Social.

These are direct aids aimed at boosting the recruitment of unemployed people and promoting quality employment.

According to the terms of the call, companies must have their fiscal or social domicile or a work center in the municipality, establishing economic aid for the creation of permanent jobs for unemployed and registered in Murcia, in order to support and To promote labor stability.

For the granting of aid, the order of entry of the application in the register will be taken into account, until the planned funds have been exhausted, amounting to 112,351 euros.

Subsidies shall be provided for enterprises formed by self-employed persons or by members of unemployed social economy enterprises whose employment shall be maintained for at least 24 months.

In all cases, jobs may be full-time or part-time, but always with a minimum of 50% working day, and the final amount of the aid will not exceed 50% of the sum of the salary and social security costs of the Positions.

In addition, the rules establish that the maximum aid that can be granted will be 6,000 euros, when the contract is full time, or 4,000 euros, if it is part-time.

Young people, over 45 years and groups with special difficulties

The Council of Employment, Tourism and Culture intends to reduce the high rates of youth unemployment, and will preferably encourage the employability of the younger population by improving their training, in order to promote their insertion in the labor market.

Also, in order to continue to increase access to employment for women and groups with special difficulties in their insertion in the labor market, subsidies will be increased when unemployed persons over 45 years old are employed, who are in long-term unemployment , People with disabilities, social exclusion and immigrants.

Thus, if the job to be created is for a young person under 30 years old or for a person with 45 or older, the aid will increase by 20%, while if it belongs to the group of people with special difficulties of employability, The aid will increase by 40%.

Applications, which may be submitted up to 15 calendar days after the date of publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia, will be valued according to criteria and scores established:

- 1 point: when the job to be created is directed to the dependency and social services;

Cultural character;

Environmental protection;

Or develop innovative projects

- 2 points: people with disabilities, women victims of gender violence, long-term unemployed;

Or who has not agreed to their first job
