Felipe Coello considers it unwise to "deal with sensitive issues and play with the feelings of Murcia, even more at this time"

Regarding the budget lines executed by the City in the improvement of the cemetery, some 644,000 euros have been allocated, accounting only for the expenses incurred in 2015 and in the months passed in 2016.
In recent years, the Municipal Cemetery has carried out numerous works aimed at improving these facilities and administrative procedures have been initiated for the reversion of ownership in pits and pantheons, for the purpose of rehabilitation and, where appropriate, Commissioning.
Among these actions is the processing of evictions of areas and the construction of new trenches in them, as is the case of zone 5. Also has been the rehabilitation of interior corridors, and is under construction the reform of Areas 20 and 21, for € 200,000.
As far as the so-called "zone of dissidents" is concerned, Coello recalls that in his day the remnants of the international brigadistas were transferred to pits ceded by the Town Hall.
Among the projects in which the technical office currently works is the rehabilitation of pantheons in c / Amargura and its perimeter area.
On the other hand, in his opinion is, at least, "unwise, to play with the feelings of people and deal with such sensitive issues regardless of the pain or discomfort they may cause the citizens."
"I would not want to think that what the PSOE pretends is that we sanction the neighbors of our municipality for not taking enough care of the graves they have acquired," Coello concludes.
