The Station of Beniaján has hosted this morning a day of coexistence and neighborhood participation to improve the environment in which a large group of neighbors and neighbors of all ages have gathered to continue to recover and improve the space around the station and return it To citizens for use and enjoyment.

The day of coexistence and neighborhood participation has begun with the organization of work groups in the different areas to intervene.

A group, coordinated by Cepaim technicians, was in charge of the workshop for the identification of native plants and the creation of identification posters to place them.

Another group of volunteers and volunteers spent the morning adapting the vicinity of the circuit of bicycles (Pump Track), removing weeds, fertilizing and watering those that were in optimum condition.

"Working together we get more things"

After a few hours of hard work and with the satisfaction of seeing the environment of the Station improved, clean and more prepared for use by the citizens, the whole attending group participated in a communal community meal in which they could taste foods from different countries of the world.

The technicians responsible for La Estación, Juan Nicolás and Juan Antonio Martínez Mateo were very pleased with the success of the call and participation of this coexistence, which emerged as an idea of ​​the Motor Group of volunteers and volunteers of La Estación.

Group of decision making that is adding more and more aid, thanks to the work and participation of groups of the hamlet, such as the Association of Neighbors and the Juvenile Association Cordillera Sur Murcia, among others.

This Day of Coexistence and Neighborhood Participation is framed in the line of community action that Fundación Cepaim has been developing at the Center for Community Art and Action "La Estación" since its inauguration in 2013.
