The hamlet of Puente Tocinos begins a Graffitis Workshop pioneer in the Region, and one of the few that exist in the country.

This training activity will take place in an old municipal lot that has been authorized by the Municipal Board as "Space for Young Creativity", which will be inaugurated today.

To this event have been called the young people of the town who have been showing their artistic qualities in the walls of the hamlet, or who want to get started in the graffiti technique.

For this they have one of the most graffiteros of the Region, Felix de Paz, who has already made some murals in Puente Tocinos, such as the one that adorns a Canine Leisure Park or several booths of Iberdrola.

The Municipal Board of Puente Tocinos intends with this initiative to provide the young people with a space in the open air where they can carry out their artistic projects freely.

For this he has not hesitated to condition and fencing an old abandoned municipal site in the center of the population and adapt it with metal screens intended for the practice of "graffiterismo", as well as space to develop painting, sculpture, and other modes of artistic expression.

The novelty of these screens is that they have been suitable to clean the surface once the practice is finished, so that they can be reused as often as necessary for learning.

The Cultural Association "Siete Torres", which has been the promoter of the workshop, has also managed agreements with walls in different parts of the locality where students can make their graffiti according to the sketches they are perfecting in the workshop.

For the Municipal Board of Bridge Tocinos is an integrative project, in which young people will have their own space for expression, offering them the opportunity to develop their concerns with the necessary training.

On the other hand, it considers that the Urban Art constitutes a valuable opportunity to make of the town a more beautiful and habitable place.
