The City of Murcia has distributed a thousand plants in different places of Abastos of the municipality, on the occasion of the celebration of the International Day against Gender Violence, thanks to the Department of Modernization of Administration, Urban Quality and Participation, directed by José Guillén.

Since last November 14, the City of Murcia has organized numerous activities to commemorate next November 25 in different parts of the municipality, such as meetings and debates;

Exhibitions, campaigns of communication, distribution of flowers and march, among others.

The Councilor for Social Rights has called for an end to this scourge and to achieve a "just" society, "where women and their children are not in situations of violence in the family environment and can live in freedom."
