The Parks and Gardens Service, which is part of the Department of Modernization of Administration, Urban Quality and Participation, led by José Guillén has improved and expanded the children's area in the garden of the Castle of Olite creating a new padded area for children.
The facilities, located in San Pío X, complement the existing ones and have two docks, an integration swing and continuous rubber pavement.
In this way, the City Council has responded to the request of the neighbors by transforming a parterre into a modern and functional children's play area.
The Councilor for Modernization, José Guillén, emphasizes that "this new space of about 70 square meters, which adds to the existing, has several elements of play that allow, with total security, enjoy this green area. Garden can be carried out sport in the sports facilities of basketball with which it counts ".
In addition, the consistory plans to finish in the next few weeks a canine recreation area and replant the slopes of the area.
"The objective is that in all areas of Murcia there are places where the neighbors can have their spaces of leisure and recreation," emphasizes Guillén.
These actions of improvement of green zones continue for Murcia and pedanías within the programmed agenda of conditioning of public spaces foreseen by the council.
