The PSOE will ask Ballesta to regulate the professional recycling of the Local Police to achieve greater effectiveness (21/11/2016)

The Municipal Socialist group presents a motion to the next Plenary in which it also demands that the process of assigning to the different destinations of the agents who re-enter the Active Service after exceedances, casualties or prolonged absences is determined.

The socialist councilor Juan Vicente Larrosa has exposed that "the current shortage of Local Police in the Municipality of Murcia has been provoked and premeditated by the various government teams of the Popular Party in the City of Murcia and who is suffering are , As always, citizens. "

"Moreover, this shortage of human resources and the increase in the average age of the workforce generates harmful effects both as regards the quality of the provision of the Service and as regards the rights of workers in relation to the Performance of their labor functions, "continued Larrosa.

Faced with this situation, the Municipal Socialist Group in Murcia has submitted a motion for the next plenary session in which it will urge the Government of Ballesta to draft and approve a protocol of action to regulate professional retraining and determine the procedure of secondment to the different destinations Of Local Police officers reentering the Active Service from an administrative situation of special services, services in other administrations, voluntary or compulsory leave, long-term leave or any other administrative situation that has entailed a prolonged absence of service.

Juan Vicente Larrosa added that said protocol, "which we have been asking for it to be implanted, should contemplate a specific section for those agents of the Local Police who, in compliance with the conditions specified in Law 4/1998 of July 22 Of Coordination of Local Police of the Region of Murcia to accede to situation of Second Activity, they re-enter to the Active Service from any of the administrative situations related in the first point and after a prolonged absence ".

Larrosa recalled that "the absence of a public call for employment to fill vacancies has been a constant in recent years and this circumstance is hurting both citizens and Local Police agents as well as the reduction of the ratio of Police per inhabitant there has been an increase in the average age of the policemen who are still active ".
