The councilor of the orange formation Paqui Pérez will present a motion in the plenary this month urging the local government to provide cultural coordinators to those municipal centers that lack this figure.

Thus, from these cultural spaces will be able to provide the same services and will put an end to the differences between them.

"It is useless to have a network of cultural centers if they do not have the necessary staff to be able to plan, manage and continue the activities that are organized," said the mayor of C's.

He also recalled that "the lack of cultural coordinators in some centers is preventing the development of training workshops and other types of activities, which are those that give meaning to this public service."

In this situation are, according to Pérez, some districts such as La Ñora, Cabezo de Torres, Aljucer, Alquerías, San Jose de la Vega or El Progreso, in the Municipal Board of the latter, Citizens presented last week a motion requesting the City Council Of Murcia a responsible one that coordinates the cultural activities, the spaces available and the schedules and activities that are organized.

A proposal - informed the councilor of the orange formation - was unanimously approved by the other political groups who understood that the lack of this figure in charge of coordination leads to a loss of activities in municipal cultural centers.

Therefore, Perez has pointed out that "it would be appropriate for the local government to provide personnel to those facilities that do not have a cultural coordinator, which would help improve their operation and provide coverage for the demand for cultural and leisure activities in All the neighborhoods and districts alike ".
