The Mayor, José Ballesta, chaired this morning the Board of Spokesmen in which the report of the Greenway of the railroad corridor of the Southern Coast has been presented and the report of the Legal Council on the situation of the houses of the communities Tofi II And Monteazahar of Beniaján.
Ballesta has asked the spokesmen of the municipal political groups for their collaboration so that the project of creating a green, pedestrian and cycling route that will connect eight pedanias of the Southern Coast with the old route of the railway, is the result of consensus and participation.
It will be 8 kilometers of corridor and almost 200,000 square meters of surface that will be transformed into a zone of leisure and recreation, continuing with the actions for the recovery of spaces for the citizen use.
On the other hand, he has noticed the report of the Legal Council on housing in Beniaján that has determined that the damages in the buildings were due to the leaks that occurred in the network of Aguas de Murcia.
Councilor for Finance and Contracting, Eduardo Martínez-Oliva, explained that "the most important thing is that the affected neighbors have a solution to this problem, they are promptly informed of the different steps taken in this process."
