The spokesman for the orange formation, Mario Gómez, presents this initiative in the form of a motion open to the other political groups that make up the Corporation

The Citizen spokesman in the City of Murcia, Mario Gomez, is going to present today a motion open to the other political groups that form the Corporation requesting that the City of Murcia cedes a municipal building for the creation of a museum space that houses the heritage (More than 200 works of art by Murcia painters and sculptors more representative of the last century) of the Foundation of the Association of the Press.

A conditioned space, explained Gómez, from which it is made known, through a permanent exhibition, this cultural heritage;

Which also includes temporary samples and a series of information and training activities.

After holding a meeting with representatives of the Association of Journalists, they have transmitted the need to put this heritage in value and make it public;

And as a Foundation they have acquired a commitment to financially assume the economic sustainability of the project in terms of maintenance and conservation.

They have also referred to the importance of providing access to their documentary collections, more than 1,000 bibliographical references and hundreds of photographs;

And provide the municipality of Murcia with a press center for public use that already have other Spanish and European cities.
