Torreagüera has a new accessible garden that will also have a bio-healthy circuit (17/11/2016)

Torreagüera has a new accessible garden.

The Department of Modernization of Administration, Urban Quality and Participation, led by José Guillén, has rehabilitated this green space, located on the Calle Sol of the Murcian hamlet, which will prevent the rain when flooded the garden.

Taking advantage of these works, the Parks and Gardens Service has made other improvements such as the extension of the annexed green areas, to which will be added in the coming weeks the installation of a sports or workout space

Thus, the accessibility of the garden has been improved, pavement has been laid and several meadows and trees have been planted that will shade and improve the aesthetics of this area.

In addition, the Department of Urban Quality plans to continue improving this green space by creating a space with workout devices to be able to perform outdoor sports.

It is important to point out that some 400 square meters of cobbled areas have been created, plus almost 200 meters of meadow and shrub areas.

Councilman José Guillén explained that "from the City Council we want to turn this garden of the Sun Street into a meeting point for all the neighbors of the area who until recently could not enjoy as they deserved a space."

This work is part, in addition to the commitment of the council to convert the parks and gardens of Murcia and districts in places of encounter and coexistence for all, the plan that contemplates the creation of different sports areas, such as biosaludable circuits, mini sports courts And gerontogimnasia zones, in the green zones of the municipality.

Councilman José Guillén explained that "we maintain our commitment to improve the quality of life of the residents of districts and create green areas that can be enjoyed by all."

The mayor wanted to "thank the work of the pedantic who are those who are in permanent contact with the neighbors and what they transfer their suggestions and ideas."
