The Mayor, José Ballesta, and the Councilor for Employment, Tourism and Culture, Jesús Pacheco, delivered this morning the diplomas to the participants in the 'CONTI-go!' Program, seven mothers and one father with their babies, who have received Training and accompaniment to start their own business, while they could attend to their children.

This initiative aims to encourage entrepreneurship between recent moms and dads, reconciling professional and family life.

The projects that the participants want to develop in this edition are varied, from e-commerce, illustration or children's furniture, to advice on porting and selling baby carriers, artistic decoration, etc.

The program, developed in the Local Development Agency in a room that is designed for the youngest, consisted of five weekly workshops, divided in turn into three blocks, with pauses to facilitate the attention of the babies.

With you!'

Is oriented to mothers and fathers with babies from 0 to 3 years who are considering to undertake and already have a project idea.

After completing this course, they will receive the support of the Municipal Initiatives Center (CIM-M) to further develop their business idea and may be awarded a six-month stay at CIM-M to consolidate their business plan.

For the development of the different workshops, the following collaborating entities participated: the Employment and Training Service of the Region of Murcia, the Institute of Promotion of the Region of Murcia, the Organization of Women Entrepreneurs, the Association of Young Entrepreneurs, the Murcia Family Business Association, the Business School, the Union of Professionals and Self-Employed Workers and the Union of Cooperatives of Murcia.

Also participating are entrepreneurs such as Joaquín Plana (Tic Tac Toys), Manuel Mira (Homynhome), Eva Romera (Eva Romera Fotógrafa), Mª José Albacete (Murcia Alimenta), Marta Hurtado (Autoescuela Como Tú) and Mayte Cabrera (Ecoideas Creativas).

This is the third edition of 'CONTI-go!'

Which, since it was launched, has hosted some thirty entrepreneurs, of whom 30% have managed to start their businesses.
