The University of Murcia (UMU) hosted yesterday the presentation of the Digital Law Library Antonio Reverte, an initiative of the Department of Civil Law of this institution to facilitate free and free access to works of classical lawyers.
The library, which is available to any student or researcher at http://bib-antonioreverte.um.es, bears the name of Antonio Reverte Navarro, who was a professor of Civil Law at UMU from 1983 until his death in 2014.
The website of the library also includes an emotional biographical profile of Professor Reverte, a posthumous gold medal of the Region of Murcia.
During the ceremony, which was attended by a large number of comrades of the honoree, including the Dean of the Faculty of Law, David Lorenzo Morillas, and the former rector Juan Roca, proceeded to the placement of a portrait of Reverte Navarro's father, Antonio Reverte Moreno, who was also Professor of Civil at this University.
The painting, which has been installed in the Department of Civil Law, is the work of Manuel Muñoz Barberán and has been donated by the painter's heirs.
In addition, the space where the current library of the Private Law Area of ​​the Faculty is located has been renamed "Sala Antonio Reverte Navarro", a plaque that was discovered during the ceremony.
The homage was promoted by the Professor of Civil Law Joaquin Ataz.
