The president of the Trashumance and Nature Association, Jesús Garzón, will participate tomorrow, on the 9th, at the University of Murcia (UMU) in the "Extensive Sheep Days in the Mediterranean: transhumance, product quality and sustainability".
Garzón, one of the main references in the conservation of nature in Spain, will be the main speaker of the conference and roundtable to be held at 16:30 in the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Espinardo campus .
After the table and debate, there will be a tasting of lamb and other natural products.
The seminars are organized by the UMU Ruminants Health group to discuss issues such as extensive livestock farming and its socio-economic benefits for rural areas or greater food security for consumers.
