The Civic Information and Surveillance Brigade performs more than 3,500 visits in the first three months since its commissioning (08/11/2016)

The data show the good functioning of the Civic Brigade of Information and Surveillance, launched thanks to the collaboration between the Department of Development, directed by Roque Ortiz, and the concessionaire Ferrovial Servicios.

In the first three months since its commissioning, the four teams that run the town and districts have made a total of 3,554 visits and contacts, of which 25% correspond to restaurants and bars, 19% to food establishments, 12% to shoes and clothing stores, 7% to pharmacies and clinics, 5% to offices, 2% to citizens and the rest to other types of establishments.

Most of these visits have been made in the neighborhood of El Carmen, followed by Vistalegre and San Miguel.

During this period, 543 previous warnings were given (most of them in San Miguel, San Lorenzo and the Catedral area) and a total of 86 voluntary complaints were made for abandonment of furniture and bulky objects (1%), (6%), residues outside the container having the capacity to dispose of them inside (67%), do not clean the terraces (9%) and do not classify the waste with selective collection containers (16%).

The majority of voluntary denunciations have been made in San Miguel, San Lorenzo and the Cathedral.

These voluntary reports have mainly been to shoe and clothing stores (33%), followed by restaurants and bars (26%), grocery stores (14%), pharmacies and clinics (4%) and the rest to other establishments.

The civic brigades have visited a total of 26 districts and districts: Buenos Aires, El Carmen, La Catedral, La Fama, La Paz, San Andrés, San Antolín, San Antón, San Bartolomé, San Juan, San Lorenzo, San Miguel, San Nicolas, San Pedro, Santa Catalina, Santa Eulalia, Santa Maria de Gracia, Vistabella, Vistalegre, Beniaján, Cabezo de Torres, El Palmar, Espinardo, La Alberca, Tocinos Bridge and Sangonera La Verde.

As the most relevant incidents during these months it can be noted that the brigades have found outside the containers notarial deeds, bank accounts with owner (a company with a balance of more than 3,000,000 euros) and medicines with prescriptions.

It should also be noted that there has been an improvement in the presentation of carton in door-to-door collection and that in the area of ​​activity of the brigades the recycling of carton has increased by 25% over the same period last year
