Doctoral students Stambouli Algerian Mustapha investigated in the UCAM on essential oils
Three Algerian university students have brought a selection of native plants to meet its properties and to study its future application to cosmetic products
Asma Boukhennoufa, Sara Ouldchikh and Yamina Maizi, PhD students at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Life of the Universite Mustapha Stambouli of Mascara (Algeria), have worked for a month with the research group Recognition and Encapsulation Molecular ( REM) UCAM.
The group, led by Dr. Jose Antonio Gabaldon Hernandez works in the characterization of extracts as well as encapsulation and stabilization.
Citrus aurantium, Artemisia herba-alba, Zizyphus lotus, Teucrium aureum or Punica granatum part of the selection of native plants that these researchers have brought to Spain in order to know their properties and ensure their effectiveness in a future application in cosmetics.
