Over a hundred shops occupy the center of the city until Sunday best deals and discounts (03/11/2016)

About 40,000 people visited last year the Outlet Fair, which had sales amounting to 340,000 euros.

This 9th edition emphasizes sustainability and care for the environment, using recycled paper, LED lights, recycling containers and distributing 20,000 reusable shopping bags.

The Mayor, José Ballesta, together with the Councillor of Commerce and Institutional Relations, Maruja Pelegrin, and representatives of trade associations in the municipality, inaugurated this morning the IX Fair Outlet, which until Sunday remain in Alfonso X and Santo Domingo .

122 shops add to the event, whose schedule will be from 10 to 14 and from 17 to 21 hours, offering a discount of up to 70% drop in sales compared to established price.

Establishments involved nine sectors: footwear, children's shoes, children's wear, men and women, jewelry, optics, and home decor and gifts.

Ballesta, who has toured the booths set up, explained that "expectations are that could be improved this year the excellent performance in the previous edition results, when about 40,000 people visited the fair and sales volume exceeded 340,000 euros" .

In addition to discounts, attendees can participate in sweepstakes and five gift vouchers photocall in a contest that will reward the best images uploaded to Twitter with the hashtag #MiCompramuacMurcia.

In this case, the winners will also get three checks purchase € 100.

The commitment to the sustainability of this ninth edition is evident with the use of recycled paper, led the installation of energy-saving lights and manufacture of 20,000 reusable shopping bags made from recycled materials and Ferrovial -collaboration in which Services- broadcasts messages to raise public awareness about the need to contribute to environmental care.

The fair, one year, is organized by the City Council, through its trademark Municipal MUAC (Murcia Commercial Area), with the collaboration of the trade associations of the municipality: Zarandona (ACOZAR), Barrio del Carmen, Beniaján ( ACOBE), Carmelitani Murcia Centro Commercial area, Silverware Dealers Association and Tatters, Triangle and Vistalegre Murcia.
