The event, organized by the City Council, in collaboration with trade associations in the municipality, bet this year more than ever sustainability using recycled paper, LED energy-saving lights, containers for selective waste collection and the distribution of 20,000 reusable shopping bags and made with recycled material.

There will be raffles and gift vouchers photocall contest that will reward the funniest picture uploaded to Twitter with the hashtag #MiCompramuacMurcia.

The Plaza de Santo Domingo and Avenida Alfonso X El Sabio welcome from Thursday until Sunday a new edition of the Outlet Fair, organized once again by the City Council, through its trademark Municipal MUAC (Murcia Area commercial), with the collaboration of the trade associations of the municipality: Zarandona (ACOZAR), Barrio del Carmen, Beniaján (ACOBE), Carmelitani Murcia Centro commercial area, Silverware dealers Association and Tatters, Triangle and Vistalegre Murcia.

The event, which will feature the participation of 122 businesses, maintains the features that define it from its origins: the putting on sale exclusively products or goods that make up the stock of each establishment, offering a discount of its products to the sale with a substantial economic advantage over the established price.

Murcia will be able to find discounts of up to 70% on their purchases, participate in raffles for gift vouchers and a contest photocall, as have advanced today the area councilor, Maruja Pelegrin, and representatives of trade associations, that presented this morning the sample.

Specifically, they attended Alfredo Caral, the Platería-Tatters Association, Santiago Vera, of the Federation of Merchants FEMUAC, Begoña Davalos, Murcia Center, and Pedro Joaquin Martinez, the Barrio del Carmen.

In addition to the substantial savings this year, however, wanted to strengthen the commitment of the sector sustainability, and thus shall be established measures of various kinds, among others, the use of recycled paper and installing LED lights on consumption.

Also, Ferrovial Services will collaborate with the fair with the provision of containers for selective collection of waste in the environment and the distribution of 20,000 reusable shopping bags and made with recycled materials, in which messages will be disseminated to raise public awareness about the need to contribute to environmental care.

Raffles and surprises

In this new edition, plus five gift vouchers of € 100 winners can redeem at establishments that choose will be drawn.

Also, the three funniest pictures taken at the photocall of the fair and climbing on Twitter with the hashtag #MiCompramuacMurcia be awarded.

In this case, the winners will also get three checks purchase € 100.

The stand of organizing the IX Fair Trade Outlet will be located in the Plaza de Santo Domingo, where all useful information in this issue will be facilitated by flyers that include a directory with participating merchants and their location in the different areas of the fair.

Nine sectors present

The Outlet Fair will feature the participation of businesses in nine sectors: footwear, children's shoes, children's wear, men and women, jewelry, optics, and home decor and gifts.

The hours will be from 10 to 14 hours and from 17 to 21 hours.

The councilman of Commerce and Institutional Relations, Maruja Pelegrin, who has presented this new edition opens on Thursday this morning, he stressed that "we must not lose sight of the objective we seek with this action, which is simply to help boost traditional trade ".

To do this, the show presents a tremendous opportunity because "entrepreneurs find a favorable environment to output products that remain in the warehouse, while citizens benefit from the opportunity to purchase quality products at affordable prices" said Pelegrin.

This annual event is part of the programs promoted by the City Council through the Department of Commerce, aimed at enhancing the image of quality and professionalism of the Murcian trade, promoting the conditions to allow customer loyalty.
