The PSOE pulls ahead all proposals submitted to the municipal October plenary session (27/10/2016)

Among the joint motions include social intervention in the hillocks of La Cruz and El Collado Cabezo de Torres or rehabilitation of the area of La Paz

The Municipal Socialist Group has achieved in the municipal plenary in October approved all motions presented jointly with other political groups, as well as the initiative for the creation of a Municipal Consumer Council.

Among the motions to note is the proposal for urban rehabilitation and social integration of the Circle of Peace, an initiative signed by all political groups and that, according to the spokesman of the PSOE, José Ignacio Gras "will finally a much needed intervention a neighborhood that needs urgent action deep social significance while urban quality of the area are improved. "

In this line, also the hillocks of La Cruz and El Collado, in Cabezo de Torres, will have a comprehensive program of social intervention, something that the Socialist Group defended at the municipal Plenum with Citizens, which has been supported of the Municipal Board of Cabezo de Torres and its president, Francisco Viudes.

The motion includes social actions related to literacy, schooling, employment or housing.

One of the points included in the agreement reached at the municipal plenary, is that this Plan of Comprehensive Social Intervention is approved before starting any urban action in the area.

Another highlight is the motions proposed by all opposition groups to seek alternatives to the project is construction of a new bridge on the way to Tiñosa.

Meeting the demands of the residents, especially the thirty families who see their land expropriated for the construction of this new bridge, the Socialists have proposed, together with Citizens, Now Murcia and change Murcia, that other possibilities are studied, including to build an underpass involving less environmental invasion and also a minor nuisance for neighbors.

As for the motions alone, the Socialist Group has achieved the unanimous approval of the initiative presented for the creation of a Municipal Consumer Council to serve as an advisory body and participation within local government.

Finally, the motion presented by the PSOE to the government Ballesta lift the ban on investing in conditioning the public to meetings municipal schools, it has been withdrawn by Councilwoman Susan Hernandez after having obtained the commitment of Councilman Decentralization to reverse that decision.

So from now on municipal boards will continue making investments in public schools if they so decide, under the supervision of the City of Murcia as had been the case until a few days ago.

Thus, the Socialist Group was pleased by the outcome of the debate and vote on those advocated initiatives and in relation to the Tax Ordinance, which have been on the table for a greater consensus, the Socialist spokesman said that "the sole objective of the PSOE is to improve the daily lives of Murcia and Murcia, and that deserves to continue trying to dialogue and come together, so we believe it is positive that we can continue working on these Tax Ordinance to further discuss the proposals of other groups and defending ours. "
