Students and professors at the University of Murcia (UMU) may make proposals at the meeting, organized by the Local Agency for Energy and Climate Change will be held on Friday, day 28, at the Museum of Los Molinos del Rio de Murcia throughout the day.

The meeting, promoted by the initialling of Climathon, is one of the largest gatherings on climate change and the day is celebrated simultaneously in major cities worldwide.
Each city offers its own local climate challenge, which, in the case of Murcia, according to the proposal made by the city council, will focus on how to improve the adaptation of this municipality to climate change in three of its most vulnerable sectors, such as urban planning , water scarcity and orchard.
