The Mayor, José Ballesta, received this morning to participants at the IX International Congress' Women of letters;
pioneers in the art, essay writing and education ', organized by the University Association for Women's Studies AUDEM, and has been inaugurated in the morning by the councilman of Social Rights, Conchita Ruiz.
The mayor also visited the exhibition 'With women's eyes' in Space Art Auditorium of the University of Murcia, which is part of the congress and in which the City has worked.
The exhibition presents the artistic work of five photographers (Ana Bernal, Maria Carmen Hernández, María Manzanera, Consuelo Molina and Zosi Zografidou) and search for "the visibility of the contributions of women to culture and knowledge, contributing to the legacy of many women is recognized and valued to give women the voice that rightfully in our society ", as explained by the councilman.
The exhibition will be open until October 27 in the auditorium of the university and from 30 October to 14 November at the Faculty of the University.
