PSOE and change calling for a commission to address the rehabilitation La Paz (19/10/2016)

Councilman Municipal Socialist Group, Enrique Ayuso and spokesman Let's change Murcia Jose Ignacio Tornel, announced Wednesday that it will present a motion to the next full City to address, once and definitively, the rehabilitation of the neighborhood of La Peace.

The initiative proposed by PSOE and change states that that committee is composed of representatives of two of the tables of the Strategy, the Social Welfare, Urban Quality and Sustainability, and Infrastructure and Planning, as well as local groups and responsible Housing of the Autonomous Community.

This commission, according to councilors who have promoted the motion, also will aim to investigate possible sources of funding, including funds from the central government programs in housing, and develop an Action Plan before summer 2017 to ensure implementation of the work with full guarantees.

In addition, the motion urges the government team to detail the content of the project that the City has presented to benefit from the funds of Strategies for Sustainable Integrated Urban Development (EDUSI), which are aimed to recover La Paz and El Carmen and the Executive of the Nation rejected in the first round.
