The PSOE again requires a master plan to coordinate and improve the cultural offer of the municipality (17/10/2016)

"The municipality of Murcia still does not have a cohesive cultural, responding to a global Cultural Plan and allow for better coordination between theaters, concert halls, auditoriums and museums".

This was expressed Municipal Councilwoman, Begoña García Retegui, Socialist Group who pointed out that "is still pending the preparation of a Master Plan, proposed by the Socialist Group that combines criteria that create a more comprehensive cultural offer.

"Today we find important plays, concerts and cultural events that match day and time, preventing users to enjoy all content and clearly showing the lack of organization of the cultural offer of the municipality", explained Retegui .

The PSOE mayor has demanded that the council Pacheco "working to create a cultural offer at the height of the municipality of Murcia, which puts us at the forefront and become our theaters and museums in a real tourist attraction."

In addition, the socialist councilor recalled that "in addition to a disorganized cultural offer is an offer centered on the city and forget the districts" and has called on the government Ballesta "a greater commitment to bringing culture to every corner of municipality, working with the Municipal Councils in organizing cultural events, concerts and other events related to culture. "

"The seventh city of Spain, with history and heritage that has, deserves a wider cultural offer that responds to a specific objective and overall planning. We can not continue lurching, overlapping events and putting patches to lack of Murcia Cultural plan needs, "he concluded.
