'The girl hook' basketball in the veins (17/10/2016)

Basketball as passion in a world in which only men could participate.

'The girl hook' tells the story of Encarna Hernandez, who now has 99 years and is one of the pioneers of Spanish women's basketball.

Lorquina based in Barcelona, ​​in the 30s, during the Second Republic, he became a woman who defied all the canons.

He was player of clubs like Atlas, Laietan, Education and Rest and FC Barcelona, ​​as well as becoming the first Spanish woman to be coach.

His life has been made into a film in the documentary 'The girl hook' under the direction of Barcelona director Raquel Barrera through Ochichornia producer, who for the past three years has shot in Barcelona, ​​Madrid and Prague.

The paper presents the life of this pioneer of Spanish basketball, a documentary that has had the participation of more than two hundred people who have recreated life in Spain in the 30s and 40s.
