few dates ago, alertábamos of the intention of the Municipal Board of the hamlet of Puntal, to carry out a felling of more than a hundred trees (jacarandas and mulberry trees) in the neighborhood of governing.
Apparently this decision was taken in a plenary of the Municipal Board said, without give some information to the neighborhood, or the neighborhood association, either before or after being taken.
When filtering the news, citizens took to the streets and protest signatures to ask for both reasons, firstly logging and secondly the lack of information to neighbors about a decision of the Board that most considered inappropriate.
As a Federation we join their cause and some media saw fit to echo this news, thus trying to help it.
To date, no one has heard about the decision it has taken or will take the Board.
Neighbors have seen with astonishment that in some copies of the trees in question have been put numbers on the floor with paint, but no one knows what they mean.
Neighbors question, because that darkness and that lack of information to those who voted them, there is some unspeakable reason for it, they feel ignored and missed respect.
From this Federation also asked, would be too much to ask our neighbors be informed of these and other decisions and actions that affect them, thus avoiding uncertainties, fears and bad feelings, such actions are the less reprehensible.
We would also like to stress as we are on the chopping block, I'd better take care of that cut, we refer to the trees.
We again ask Mr. Ballesta, appealing to their good judgment and sensitivity to intercede to be acted positively that report and the opinion of the neighbors attend, as well as the spirit of the bylaw GREEN AREAS AND WOODLAND VIARIO, simply out of respect for citizens and environmental sensitivity.
