Murcia change has added to the concentration called for tomorrow at 11:30 pm in La Glorieta, against trade agreements that the EU negotiates with the United States and Canada, considering that entail the "dismantling" of public services and the loss of freedom of municipalities to address social needs.
This is explained by the Councillor for the municipalist training, Margarita Guerrero, who has encouraged citizens to take part in this mobilization, organized by the Marches of Dignity within the international week of fighting poverty, TTIP, the TISA and CETA, to "unite forces" and to stop the negotiations of these treaties.
Guerrero has considered "fundamental" to "common front" because the consequences of the implementation of the treaty will be "disastrous" for the population in terms of quality and protection of social, labor and environmental rights, and affect such basic issues such as food sovereignty and public health.
The struggle Let's change Murcia against these treaties as was evident with the presentation, last year, a motion in Parliament by claiming that the municipality of Murcia was declared against TTIP, as well as the various proposals that have been in Murcia.
