The Catholic University of Murcia, the Picky-picky Corporate Freshko group and the company presented this morning a double project made by new professorships 'Innovation in the processing industry of fruits and vegetables' and 'Picky-picky: gastronomic innovation'.

Thus, the UCAM offered the first chair in restoration of the Region of Murcia.

With this collaboration, research projects will be developed in the field of culinary innovation and restaurant management, making use of the premises on which it counts in Murcia Picky-picky Corporate group for students of the UCAM have the means and the right environment for the proper development of the project.

Meanwhile, the chair of Freshko conduct research projects in the field of processing industry of fruits and vegetables.

The event was attended by the president of the UCAM, José Luis Mendoza;

Freshko CEO and Picky-picky, Pablo García;

the Dean of grades in Gastronomy, Human Nutrition and Science and Food Technology of the University, José María Cayuela;

and Vice President for Research, Estrella Nunez.

José María Cayuela has said that the creation of these chairs are a great benefit for students, "these may be places of practice, both nationally and internationally, with partner companies Freshko, allowing lead the student to reality what is developing today in the processing industry of fruits and vegetables. "

As for the chair of Picky-picky, focused on gastronomy and restoration "allows students to have not only practices in the restaurants of the group, but also develop innovative gastronomic projects in their facilities," said the Dean.
