On Monday begin work on the diversion of water networks that will bury the arrival of the AVE (13/10/2016)

TThe previous work that will allow the arrival of the AVE soterrado to Murcia are already a reality.

The next Monday, October 17, will begin work diverting hydraulic lines affected by the railway line and managed by Aguas de Murcia.

Councillor for Public Works, Roque Ortiz, accompanied by the director general of Transport, coasts and ports, Salvador García-Ayllón, presided this afternoon the meeting at which the multidisciplinary technical committee has reported on the works of the burial of the AVE in city.

The same was attended by members of local groups, CROEM, professional associations, Chamber of Commerce, Federation of Neighborhood Associations, Board of Landowners, traders Carmen neighborhood and Platform Prosoterramiento, besides presidents of the municipal boards of The Dolores, Los Garres Patino, St. Pius, Santiago el Mayor, El Carmen, El Infante, Barrio del Progreso, Barriomar, Central East, Central West and East.

The aim of this meeting was to introduce them to the work plan and ensure traffic urban mobility while these works of arrival of the AVE and develop underground.

The performances begin next Monday with the cross section of the level crossing the path of the Garres, where he will act for 3 weeks, including Saturdays and Sundays.

This home is motivated by the execution of the works of the flyover Road Tiñosa, so that the permeability between the sides north-south route in two of the three transverse steps to ensure: Torre de Romo, Trail the Garres and Tiñosa Road.

Two weeks on each side of Shore Road

On the north side of the Via Rail Shore, Trail crossing the Garres from 17 to 30 October run.

Work on the south side of Via Rail Shore begin on October 24 and will run until November 6.

Then the collector installation work will continue as follows:

• North side: Path of the section between Garres and South Bridge Round, with an estimated two months occupation.

• South side: section between rail access to FAROLIVA and Path of the Garres, with an estimated two months occupation.

The rest of occupation and implementation are as they progress with the work.

Contemplated works, in which more than 5.6 million euros will be invested, have previously run to the underground, in order to ensure adequate sewerage, drinking water, irrigation network in the area and especially the drain areas of the districts of St. Pius X Carmen, Infante, Santiago El Mayor, and Barrio del Progreso.

Thus, actions on north collector will last for 4 months and the southern collector for 6 months.

However, these jobs will not be made at the same time, except when this simultaneity does not affect the traffic.

The plan of work of driving north -only affecting alternately railway platform, will be held in two working groups.

The first will begin at the end of Carril de las Vegas, then continuing east-west.

The second group will act on the Path of Garres, for what will be necessary to cut the transit of this passage from north to south, east to west never, for two months.

The City Council signaled perfectly alternative diversions to be performed by the side of the road.

According to forecasts, the works on the road Tiñosa begin within two months, with the aim that always remain open two of the three level crossings.
