The drawing contest campaign Security Grows has already winners (13/10/2016)

The Campaign Grows in Security, organized by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health of the Region of Murcia with the collaboration of the Department of Education, already has winners.

The Councillor for Education, Rafael Gomez, this morning attended the awards ceremony with Leopoldo Navarro Quiles, Managing Director of Industrial Relations and Social Economy;

Francisco Mirete, technical inspector of Work Safety Institute of Occupational Safety and Health and Cesar Lopez, head of training at the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health

The Department of Education of the City of Murcia has offered to all schools in the municipality the opportunity to participate in the Growing Campaign Security Directorate General of Labour through the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health and the Ministry of Education, Culture and universities have developed in primary schools, with a share of

45 centers and 1,347 students in grades 5 of primary education have participated in this edition of the program in which prevention professionals to schools moved to give briefings to teachers and students, explaining colloquially, the usual accidents that we are exposed (burns, falls down stairs, poisoning, slipping in the shower, danger ..... stoves) making emphasis on back problems caused by poor posture in the chair and the wrong way to carry the backpack and the advantages of a preventive action.

Also distributed among students a comic bulleted situations of daily life structured in three blocks: house, street and school, wrongdoings that children should be identified, and an interactive game projected on the whiteboard, the school said errors between the class commenting potential risks and prevention.

As a complement to teaching a drawing contest in which involved 22 primary schools in the municipality with a total of 370 pupils and 34 teachers, and whose work should be designed with any facts related to the world convened risks prevention.

The jury, made up of technicians Education Service Fuensanta Nicolas Martinez and Maria Dolores Pozo Fernandez and professionals Occupational Risk Prevention Cesar Lopez Nicholas and Francisco Jimenez Mirete, valued in the drawings presented the aesthetics of work, contained in risk prevention , cleaning the presentation and originality of them.
