Three agreements allow to implement actions that promote entrepreneurship in the municipality (07/10/2016)

The Governing Board has approved three agreements with various municipal associations in order to implement actions to promote entrepreneurship.

Thus, the Department of Employment, Tourism and Culture, who leads Jesus Pacheco, grant the Association of Social Economy (AMUSAL), the Union of Worker Cooperatives (UCOMUR) and the Federation of Metal Construction and related UGT (MCA-UGT) a global subsidy amounting to about 92,000 euros.

The objective of the aid is granted to AMUSAL implement actions to facilitate the creation and development of enterprises, and particularly help in the construction of the Training Centre and Headquarters of AMUSAL.

Similarly, it will develop measures for information, advice and training to improve the professional and business qualification of workers who opt for self-employment through a business project.

Another purpose of the agreement between the City and AMUSAL is to encourage, promote and support the creation of viable social economy enterprises, promoting the diversification of the business of the municipality and plan joint training activities and advice.

Meanwhile, the agreement with the Union of Worker Cooperatives in the Region of Murcia (UCOMUR) is to establish cooperation to facilitate the necessary actions that enable the creation, promotion and business development.

Among its objectives is the realization of training measures and information aimed at improving the professional and managerial skills of those workers who choose self-employment through a business project and develop actions of business training as support to employment projects by creating companies.

UCOMUR undertakes, for its part, to promote and encourage their employment practices associated product training acquired in the training activities promoted by the City Council and the hiring of unemployed who have been through such programs.

They also disseminated among its member cooperatives to UCOMUR programs and activities promoted by the Employment Service as are the Joint Employment Programs and Training (Youth, Seniors and Youth Guarantee) Program 1st Qualification for Youth, Vocational Training for Employment and the Guidance Department.

For its part, the City will transfer to local AMUSAL of the various centers of the Employment Service.

Finally, the agreement signed with the Federation of Metal Construction and Allied Workers' General Union (MCA-UGT) is to implement actions to facilitate the training of workers demanding employment and enterprise promotion.

Thus, training and information activities aimed at improving the professional skills of job seekers and to facilitate the employment of workers job applicants will be made.
