The University of Murcia (UMU) held tomorrow and Friday, within its Campus of Excellence Mare Nostrum (CMN), the VI International Congress of Iranology.

During this meeting, to be held in the Conference Hall of Letters, Iran's influence throughout history will be analyzed, from the earliest Sumerian-Akkadian cultures that emerged 5,000 years ago to the present.

The conference will include the participation of specialists from various topics that delve into how the civilizing Indo-Iranian stratum has influenced many religious, political, social, cultural and artistic aspects of different cultures.

The Congress is organized by the Spanish Society Iranology.
