The service of Parks and Gardens, under the Department of Administration Modernization, Urban Quality and Participation, led by José Guillén, has completed the cleanup of Lake Fofó.
This action is part of the six-month campaign full and thorough cleaning of the main lakes of Murcia through which already has intervened in La Seda, Garden of Salitre and South Ronda.
These works seek to prevent any pest or bacteria and to clean and maintain the machinery that is used in lakes and everything is in perfect condition.
In these tasks work more than twenty workers who devote many hours to get the good condition that have large lakes of the capital.
Councilman Jose Guillen stressed that "has already carried out a thorough cleaning garden lake Silk, in Murcia, and now is being done a thorough cleaning of the aisles of this space. The work consists emptying water, thorough cleaning of algae and any possible dirt and inspection and cleaning of the treatment plants and machinery of these lakes. "
In addition to daily maintenance measuring water levels and surface cleaning it is performed.
