The special safety device Murcia Fair 2016 will consist of more than 480 police, firefighters and volunteers of Civil Protection (30/08/2016)

The Department of Traffic Safety and Civil Protection has developed a specific Protection Plan occasion of the Feria de Murcia whose primary objective is to ensure the safety of the citizens of Murcia and visitors to enjoy the holidays in peace.

At the fairgrounds FICA special safety device made up of 12 police officers who constantly patrol the entire grounds of the Fair, equipped with a police vest to facilitate their identification is established.

In the parades of Moors and Christians, which mainly run through Piazza Martinez Tornel, Plano San Francisco and Gran Via Salzillo, the local police cut traffic on their environments, and proceeded to make provisional detours through the main rounds of the city.

During the celebration of the various musical acts the police ensure the safety of those attending the same and as in the service of the attractions Fica, officers shall be provided with a reflective police vest to facilitate their identification.

In orchards and Camp Medieval Garden of Malecón, it will install another Office Mobile Police Service, complementing the protection service (foot patrols), enabling closer to the local police to neighbors and visitors who come to the Garden of Malecón , thus providing a better and more effective information services, protection and assistance.

This Office will be installed at the entrances to the fairgrounds the Malecon, coinciding its opening hours to the public with scheduled events.

During the pilgrimage, which is the most heavily attended event of the celebrations, will serve 208 policemen, 26 Radio patrols, 32 motorcycles and 3 cranes.

Also featured will be the Fire Service, Civil Protection and Environmental Agents.

They will join 18 soldiers Fire Murcia to be located in the Shrine, the left margin of the rise that runs from the Shrine to the junction of Teatinos-La Luz (opposite the old seminary) and nearby the recreational area of ​​the Cresta del Gallo

The availability of plainclothes policemen's main purpose is to increase the efficiency of ordinary uniform patrol service, especially to certain types of offenses related to property crimes that often take advantage crowds of people:

- Larceny (descuideros, boobies, pickpockets, etc.)

- Robberies, both directly targeting people or their mode inside the vehicle.

- Crimes against Intellectual Property (CD music or DVD movies).

- Crimes against Industrial Property (counterfeit trademark items: clothing, perfumes, leather goods, etc.)

This set device (uniformed and plainclothes) is effective both from a preventive point of view (taking care to avoid the crime), as compared to the subsequent police work (committed the crime, interested in identifying the alleged perpetrator and proceed to their location and detention).

Parking not unduly so traffic and emergency vehicle access is hindered.

Respect speed limits.

Preferably use the park and ride.

Do not leave objects inside the vehicle in sight.

Wallets bags and keep them in sight and contact you, preferably at the front.

Meanwhile, Fire Murcia, in addition to the aforementioned events, establish a special device during the development of the Urban Sup & Wake and Regattas 2016 September 10, with four troops, a light vehicle and a type zodiac boat.
