The City of Murcia, through the Department of Social Rights who directs Conchita Ruiz Caballero, constitute the local Board for the fight against gender violence in order to develop a protocol for action in emergency situations, which shall consist of representatives of the social and health fields of regional and municipal administration, as well as the Forces of State Security.
The main objective of the local Bureau indicated Ruiz Caballero, "it is to promote municipal policies and actions to eradicate gender violence and improve early detection of cases of violence in this area within the municipality, in order to ensure greater protection victims and ensure optimal care. "
In addition, it is also intended to promote coordination of agents, resources and actions, and provide care and quick response to victims, while it informs and sensitizes professionals and citizens.
The Bureau will release the lines of work and the scope of each entity represented, set criteria for early detection of cases of gender violence, agreed common criteria for the detection and treatment of high-risk cases, improvements and drive awareness strategies and general and specific prevention.
