The Councillor for Education, University Relations and Heritage, Rafael Gomez, this morning visited three schools in districts where are developing improvement work and conditioning.

Gomez explained that "today has already run 76% of the works so we can say that, according to forecasts, everything will be ready when the school year starts."

The City is making repairs to a total of 23 schools in the town and districts, with more than 839,000 euros investment.

The council has visited this morning the schools of Nuestra Señora de la Antigua de Monteagudo, Virgen de la Vega de Cobatillas and Our Lady of Tears Cabezo de Torres.

In Our Lady of Antigua Monteagudo works basically consist of repairs and interior courtyard of the building;

the Virgen de la Vega de Cobatillas are being repaired various elements of the exterior and the dining room, while Our Lady of Tears Cabezo de Torres works focus on the patios.

These improvement and upgrading works are being developed during the summer months in 23 schools: CEIP Saavedra Fajardo Algezares, CEIP Aljucer Sculptor González Moreno;

CEIP Avileses Avileses, CEIP Infanta Elena Beniaján, CEIP N.ª S.ª of Tears Cabezo de Torres, CEIP Virgen de la Vega de Cobatillas, CEIP N.ª S.ª Angels El Esparragal, CEIP St. Rosa de Lima El Palmar, CEIP Virgen de Guadalupe Guadalupe, CEIP N.ª S.ª of Antigua de Monteagudo, CEIP Felix Rodriguez de la Fuente de Murcia, CEIP Infante D. Juan Manuel de Murcia, Murcia CEIP Luis Costa CEIP Manuel Fernández Caballero de Murcia, CEIP Narciso Yepes Murcia, CEIP Kingdom of Murcia in Murcia, CEIP Santa Maria de Gracia de Murcia, CEIP Jose Martinez Tornel Patino, CEIP Pintor Pedro Flores Bacons Bridge, CEIP Beniscornia corner corner Beniscornia, CEIP Vicente Medina of Sangonera la Seca, CEIP Rafael Nicolas Stripe Sangonera la Verde and CEIP Sacred Heart of Zeneta.
