The councilman of Social Rights, Conchita Ruiz Caballero, visited the summer school of Santiago and Zaraiche, which runs until August 8 and which involved 55 minors, aged between 6 and 14 years.
With this school the cycle of summer activities planned by the Department of Social Rights, which have been developed 44 summer schools, involving 1,900 children, in addition to the 119 who have attended summer camps closed.
This school is fully developed by social volunteerism as part of the project to promote and support voluntary social work carried out by the Municipal Social Services Centre 'Ciudad de Murcia', in which days of living and training workshops aimed at also develop training people.
There are currently 385 people registered on the stock volunteer manages the Department of Social Rights, 300 women and 85 men.
Specifically, 239 volunteers collaborate in activities aimed at children.
In addition, there are also leisure activities and leisure aimed at older women or social integration.
