The twelve votes of the Popular Party have served to move forward on the full City Council of Murcia the General Plan amendment that allows restart the processing of the partial plan that affects Joven Futura.
The agreement was necessary in execution of a judgment of the Supreme Court and, in compliance with the guidelines of the relevant legal reports, which foresaw the need to resume the process from the initial approval and referral to the region.
The agreement was adopted with the vote for the PP, PSOE and the abstention of the opposition C'sy Now Murcia and change.
The Town Planning, Environment and Huerta, Antonio Navarro, explained that the decision of the Plenary allows "rectify a formal question and prevents damage occurring to the 1,500 families Joven Futura, which are our priority," and to whom this according returns legal certainty.
Navarro advised not to lose sight of what project it is: a cooperative of young people allowed access to housing thousands of young people to a price adjusted to their possibilities.
If the General Plan amendment is not approved, "we would give a kick to regional planning," added Navarro.
