The University of Murcia (UMU) has joined the Spanish Network of Healthy Universities (REUS), which aims for promoting health, promoting research and enhance international participation.
The statutes of this organization, which are borne by the UMU after the agreement regarding its Governing Council, also note that other purposes REUS are the promotion of the university as a promoter healthcare environment and define strategic lines and working to develop a project driving the same university.
The network has national character and its registered office is set at the Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid.
Furthermore, the Governing Council has also approved at its last meeting the request for change of name of the University School of Tourism attached, which will be renamed faculty.
This body of university government has given its approval, on the other hand, the proposed master's degree in Applied Policy Analysis, whose preparation is started and, after receiving approval from ANECA, is expected to be ready for the year 2017 -2018.
