According to Ramos, the garden of Murcia has its future in the market proximity and environmental and quality products, and that means taking the first steps for the conservation of this natural area, as recognized by the Action Plan of the City .
In this situation, "we have a great weakness," which is that training for organic agricultural products is found only in Jumilla, in Murcia so that interested people have to move to that location.
"One of the measures to restore the garden of Murcia as an agricultural area and focusing its production towards agroecology is to launch the necessary training, also benefiting the field of Murcia and other nearby areas as the field of Cartagena and Guadalentín Valley" , says Ramos.
The mayor also bet that this cycle is taught within an Agricultural School in which in the future other qualifications as a technician in gardening and flower shop are offered: superior technician in Garden Design technician Landscaping and Rural and, all focused on ecological techniques.
