The Mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, and the councilmen Jesus Pacheco and Felipe Coello, received this afternoon at the Plenary Hall of the members of the Grouping Folkloric Abenechara of Gran Canaria, which vienieron accompanied by members of the Board of Directors of the orchard Peña el Cuartillo, organizer of the Festival of Folklore of Sangonera la Verde, which begins tomorrow.
This is a pre-performance reception on Saturday night of both groups, within the 32 edition of the Festival of Folklore parties Sangonera la Verde, held in honor of Our Lady of the Angels.
José Ballesta gave a "warm welcome" to the Canary grouping murcianas land and said that "music and dance are elements of union and brotherhood between peoples and cultures, something that we really need in today's society".
This act responds to one of the neighborhood requests made during personal interviews of the First Day of the City of Murcia Participation held recently.
Also, through the Department of Tourism, Culture and Employment, the canary folklore group held a tour of the city.
