Youth Resource Center "La Nave" Bacons Bridge will renew its program of activities for the next two years.
To this end, the Governing Board has given the green light to the tender documents for service coordination, functioning and organization of this municipal facility clauses.
The proposal of the Department of Youth and Development Cooperation, who heads Rebeca Perez, hiring is planning new activities developed in the center.
Youth facilities promote positive relations of cooperation between the associations and the city of Murcia and encourages the participation of young people in the center's activities, developing participatory processes that involve them in the decision, organization and evaluation of activities.
The contract amounts to 131,000 euros for a period of two years.
Launched in 1987, The Ship is the oldest young area of ​​Murcia, which has become a benchmark in training, culture and youth participation;
with more than 40,000 participants each year in its activities of all kinds, such as courses, exhibitions, workshops, theater, concerts, parties, etc.
City Council youth facilities offer an open forum for cultural and creative (music, performing arts, photography, visual arts, audiovisual, comic, design, etc.) space, besides having training services, from training center, documentation and training consulting and counseling, youth information point, use of new communication technologies, etc.
Among the activities and programs developed in La Nave, young people participate in a school table tennis, workshops educational, photographic or radio and audiovisual entertainment, complemented by a varied quarterly program of courses and theatrical, musical activities and artistic young creators.
