Social Rights allocated 143,400 euros to 15 women's centers (15/07/2016)

Through Traperos Emmaus Association, Foundation AFIM Murcia, Association of Paraplegic and Physically Handicapped, ASTEAMUR, Entity Full Inclusion and 15 women 's centers of town

5 grants for associations involved in volunteering and care of people with disabilities and autistic spectrum disorder and another for activities of 15 women's centers the village, for a total amount of 143,400 euros have been approved this morning by the Board of Governors.

Specifically, 15 women's centers will receive a grant of 57,400 euros: Abenarabi, district center, El Carmen, Infante, La Fama, Fleet, La Paz, San Antolín, San Anton, Ronda Norte, Santa Eulalia, Santa Maria Gracia, Vistabella, Vistalegre and El Ranero.

With this assistance, the activities developed are both training aimed at personal development by promoting social and intellectual skills, and decision-making, as employment training, facilitating access to information technology and communication, training women to increase employability and entrepreneurship.

The Traperos Emmaus Association of Murcia will have an amount of 50,000 euros to develop its project psychotherapeutic care and promotion of volunteerism.

Thus, 45 people promote awareness, motivation and training of volunteer / as well as coordination of activities with other organizations and institutions to planning and multiplication of activities with the group of social exclusion.

For its part, the Association of Paraplegic and Physically Handicapped of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, will have 8,000 euros for 212 affected and their families and caregivers, students and professionals.

Through the AFIM Murcia Foundation, which the city of Murcia has awarded a grant of 8,000 euros, 90 people with intellectual disabilities aged between 18 and 65 years will enjoy the day center where safe habitat is offered, accessible and adapted to their functional needs, thereby improving their quality of life and promoting their personal development and social integration, avoiding unwanted income residential centers.

The Association for people with autism spectrum Murcia (ASTEAMUR) disorder, you have a grant of 12,000 euros to develop the workshop social and communication skills to care for 21 children and young people with this disorder, as well as to promote their school integration, labor and social, defending their rights and promoting social attitudes in the community.

Finally, it will give the amount of 8,000 euros to the Entity Full Inclusion Region of Murcia, specifically for the development of their training project and awareness to improve the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities and cerebral palsy, as well as integrated boost the federation associations.

The project involves the development of four actions: Transformation conference services to the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities, day guide equipment;

evaluation seminar adaptive behavior and course management skills to build new participatory institutions.
