Prickly pears go round the Plenary Hall (09/07/2016)

Councilman Employment, Tourism and Culture, Jesus Pacheco, received this morning at the Plenary Hall representatives of the twelve participants in the XX International Contest of Barrio del Carmen which to this day is celebrated in the Artillery Barracks tunas.

Prickly pears come from Spain, Mexico, the Netherlands, Portugal and the United Kingdom.

Tonight, after 20 hours, the official contest and then the 'Night Sabinera' concert will take place.
