The Convent of the Poor Clares of Algezares receives a new applicant (05/07/2016)

Lencina Consuelo Navarro, Murcia 19, entered Saturday 2 July in the community of the convent of the Poor Clares of St. Veronica, of the Order of Santa Clara, in Algezares (Murcia).

He had participated in several meetings organized by these religious youth, when he decided to begin a process of discernment that led her to mature their vocation for a year and a half.

Then he made an experience for three weeks in the convent of Poor Clares of St. Veronica.

He was there during the last Easter.

One time he did confirm that it was his vocation: to be clarisa in the convent of Algezares.

Last Saturday entered the monastery, after a Mass celebrated by the priest Jose Manzano, and which was accompanied by his family and friends.

In celebrating her parents gave her blessing, and at the end so did the priest.

Once you open the regular door of the monastery of the Poor Clares, the abbess spoke a few words to the new candidate, giving his blessing also, and receiving it with a hug on behalf of the entire religious community.

Consuelo thus begins a process that will last between six months and one year, as a candidate, which then becomes a postulant, novice and finally make their vows of fidelity to the charism of the Order of Santa Clara.
