The University of Murcia shows its best publications in an exhibition at the library BOE (04/07/2016)

"Editum results of research at the University of Murcia the reach of society" is the title of the cycle that has been developing in the library of BOE in Madrid since last June 27 and will run until 8 of July.

The initiative aims to publicize the work of dissemination of knowledge developed by the University of Murcia through its publications.

On Tuesday 5 July at 12 hours, two conferences will reflect on the work of dissemination and transfer of knowledge to society: "Contribution of Editum to the publication and promotion of university academic book" which will deliver Sandra Isabel Souto Küstrin, scientific head of the Institute of History and Center for Humanities and Social Sciences (CSIC);

and "The Editum Signs collection in the panorama of scientific book", by Vicente Cervera Salinas, professor of Spanish Literature at the UM and coordinator of the collection.

That same day, after the conclusion of the round table will be presented the book "Dispublicitados. The (ideological) effects of advertising" (2016), Collection Editum Media, designed by the author Javier García López, Professor of Advertising, creativity, Public Opinion and History of Social Communication.

The cycle includes an exhibition of the most significant works, published by the university throughout his editorial work.

It is forty works that have obtained a university, scientific and social recognition and have become the most valued and demanded by the readers of this university seal.

The exhibition can be visited from 09:00 to 20:00, and on Saturdays from 10: 00h to 14: 00h, in the space UNE BOE Bookstore (Trafalgar, 27).

A university space in the center of the BOE

Since last October, the iconic bookstore in Madrid BOE has a space to display the publications of the Spanish Universities.

This new space, aims to become the major reference center of the university book in the capital of Spain, consists of a permanent point of sale, storage, exhibition and showcase of Spanish university book, besides providing an area which hosts book presentations and other cultural events related to the activity of the association and its members.

The BOE bookstore has an area of ​​600 square meters, dedicated to the sale of the publications of the State Agency itself.

With the opening of space UNE, responsible BOE Bookstore aim to provide citizens with "a better service to offer them greater and more complete editorial offer related content."
