Councilwoman Let's change Margarita Guerrero regretted that the City of Murcia has not exhibited today, pride parade, the rainbow flag as advised by the regional legislation in order to visualize the struggle of lesbian, gay, transgender, bisexual and intersex for real equality.

In a letter to the mayor, Guerrero reported that other municipalities in the Region as Totana, Bullas, Molina and Jumilla yes they have placed on its facade the rainbow flag, and has questioned the reasons why, in the case of Murcia , the municipal authorities have decided not to.

In this sense, the Councillor reminded the alderman as a regional law the authorities should provide support for the holding of commemorative dates, as forms of visibility, are instruments of standardization and consolidation of full and effective equality in the life of LGBTI people.

The rule states, quote, that "in particular, will be supported and will support the actions that the social movement and activist LGTBI perform on June 28, International Day of Pride LGBTI or international day of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transsexual, Transgender and Intersex" .
