Euroleague has approved the registration of UCAM Murcia CB to contest the Eurocup of the 2016-2017 season.

Varsity, thus joins the table with 23 teams more than 12 different countries, which are also Herbalife Gran Canaria, Valencia Basket, Dominion Bilbao Basket and Unicaja Malaga.

The sets will be divided into 4 groups of 6 teams that will meet in a round of matches round, which will start in October.

The best 4 teams from each group will go to TOP 16, where the format will also be group (4 of 4 teams).

After this phase, they reach the quarterfinals, semifinals and final (with a better format of three games).

The winner of the championship will be automatically qualified to compete in the Euroleague season 17-18.
