Twelve tunas from Spain, Mexico, the Netherlands, Portugal and the United Kingdom participate in the XX edition of the International Music Festival Barrio del Carmen (24/06/2016)

A total of 12 tunas from Spain, Mexico, the Netherlands, Portugal and the United Kingdom participate in the XX edition of the International Music Festival Barrio del Carmen, which will be held on 7, 8 and 9 July at the Artillery Barracks .

In addition, about 300 rogues made rounds and parade through the city streets inviting Murcia to join the contest.

The entrance to the artillery barracks is free and every night there will be free tastings for attendees.

The two awards from the competition were awarded this year in the Queen Doña Letizia, as godmother, and Murcia Michelin star chef, Pablo Gonzalez, as Grand Master.

In addition, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, President of the Autonomous Community, will receive the gold badge of the festival.

The Symphony Orchestra of Murcia and Los Parrandboleros will be the protagonists of this edition special concert under the name 'Noche de Ronda'.

Exceptionally, the festival will close with the 20th anniversary special concert by the band of Joaquin Sabina.

'Night Sabinera' is a show that celebrates its 10th anniversary world tour, and is led by Pancho Varona and Antonio García de Diego.

The painter and sculptor Nicholas of Maya ceheginero is the author of the poster of this year, having left his unique vision of the student world with its unmistakable style.

In addition, trophies will design exclusive for this edition.

The competition looks emblem Brand Spain, a distinction of the High Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs endorses the project.

This achievement makes the festival in the second and only event in the region with the International Festival of Cante de las Minas have this consideration.

Another new feature this year will be the new stage design.
