The draft of the new statutes of the University of Murcia (UMU) will be ready for next September, with the idea that the Senate start of this educational institution may approve in February 2017.

These are the provisions of the Law Commission report of the Senate itself has presented during the meeting held by this body in the auditorium.

President of the Commission, Professor Jorge Costa, has stated that the draft is already completed, but has preferred to wait for the contributions you can make the Legal Department of the UMU before sending it to the Senate.

According to the new calendar that has been marked in the first days of September it is expected to have the report of the Legal Department, after which the corresponding process of presentation and discussion of amendments and new legal report for, in February, subjecting be developed the final text to a Senate meeting.
